Lawnchair 12.1.0 Alpha 3 - All New Changes

Lawnchair Launcher came with two recent back to back updates, the first one was lawnchair 12.1.0 alpha 1 and the second one was lawnchair 12.1.0 alpha 3.

There's not much difference between these two updates, however lawnchair 12.1.0 alpha 3 came with backup and restore feature so now you have an option to backup and restore your layout, settings and wallpaper. You can access this feature by going to lawnchair settings and you can just click on the 3-dot menu on the top right corner and here you have this backup and restore feature.

Apart from this, there were some other changes as well.

The first important change that you will notice is the overall UI improvement like the buttons are completely different now.

The second change you will notice is that you have a separate section for at a glance widget where you can choose to display weather, battery and music.
The third important change is related to themed icons. If you go to the launcher settings then general settings and go to icon pack menu, here you have an option to enable themed icons for homescreen as well as app drawer and this option was not present in the older version of lawnchair 12.

The fourth important change is related to the dock search bar, now you can choose between different search providers like Google and duckduckgo and there is this option known as always open website. If you enable this option, it will open the search provider's website even if it's not installed.

The fifth feature is really interesting. So if you go to launcher settings, then general settings and go to the font section, now you have an option to add custom fonts from your device storage. This one is a pretty good feature actually.
The sixth feature that has been added is the icon shapes. Now you have multiple shapes like teardrop, square, oneui or iOS, so this one is a pretty good feature as well.

Apart from all these features, there were some bug fixes and other performance improvements, some fixes in language section and some changes to quickswitch. So, that was pretty much everything about lawnchair 12.1.0 alpha 3.

Delete system applications from Vivo Iqoo 3 (or any other Vivo device)

As we already know, Vivo devices come with a lot of preinstalled bloatware like Google and Facebook services as well as some applications from Vivo which cannot be uninstalled directly. So, below I’ll be explaining a method through which you can delete those system applications and enjoy a clean android experience and that too without rooting your device. Please keep a note that this process requires a PC/Laptop. 1. Enabling developer options in your device: which can be done by going to your device settings > my device > more parameters and tapping on the software version multiple times until you get a pop-up saying that you are a developer now. 2. Once the developer options are enabled, you can go to the device settings again, then system management, then developer options. You can enable the developer options if not enabled. You also need to enable USB debugging in the developer options in order to run this process. 3. That’s all you need to do with the android device...
