PixelOS Android 13 for Redmi Note 10 Pro

PixelOS is definitely one of the best Android 13 custom roms available for redmi Note 10 Pro right now and it's evident from the overall smoothness this custom rom offers. This ROM also stands out because of its minimalistic look. Let's dive into the installation process and some key features of this ROM.

Installation

1. Your device bootloader needs to be unlocked. Below is a step by step guide for unlocking bootloader in any Xiaomi device

2. You need a custom recovery like TWRP or PixelOS recovery. Below is a step by step guide for flashing a custom recovery like TWRP

3. For flashing PixelOS, you can use two different methods

a. ADB Sideload (Requires a PC)

b. Flashing through TWRP

ADB Sideload steps

Step 1 is to  take your phone to recovery mode and connect your phone to PC.

Step 2 is to perform a clean flash, so please format the data first.

Step 3 is to start adb sideload in your phone by going to advanced options.

Go to Advanced options > Wipe cache and Dalvik > Start ADB Sideload

Step 4 is to Open platform tools in your PC, type cmd in the address bar and press enter. This is going to open the command prompt window (You will find these instructions in the above videos)

Step 5 is to type the command adb space sideload and drag the PixelOS ROM file and press enter (check the below video for instructions)

This will take approximately 10-15 mins and when the sideload is complete, you can either directly reboot to the system or format the data once again and then reboot to the system.

Flashing through TWRP

Reboot to TWRP

Go to Wipe > Format data > 'Type YES'

Go Back to TWRP main interface, tap Install

Select the ROM file and swipe to confirm flash

Reboot to System

Delete system applications from Vivo Iqoo 3 (or any other Vivo device)

As we already know, Vivo devices come with a lot of preinstalled bloatware like Google and Facebook services as well as some applications from Vivo which cannot be uninstalled directly. So, below I’ll be explaining a method through which you can delete those system applications and enjoy a clean android experience and that too without rooting your device. Please keep a note that this process requires a PC/Laptop. 1. Enabling developer options in your device: which can be done by going to your device settings > my device > more parameters and tapping on the software version multiple times until you get a pop-up saying that you are a developer now. 2. Once the developer options are enabled, you can go to the device settings again, then system management, then developer options. You can enable the developer options if not enabled. You also need to enable USB debugging in the developer options in order to run this process. 3. That’s all you need to do with the android device...
